A double by RF Michael Lang and a two-run single by CF Tony Campana capped off a three-run ninth inning for Sioux City as they took home a 5-4 walk-off victory over Wichita.

The Wingnuts had plated three runs over the eighth and ninth innings to take a 4-2 lead only to see it quickly disappear with the three-run rally by the Explorers in their half of the ninth.

Lang had a 4-for-5 night with a home run, three runs scored and two RBI while SS Tanner Vavra had four hits of his own along with a RBI.

Explorers reliever Ryan Flores gave up three earned runs over two innings of work but came away with his fourth victory of the year.

Flores allowed two hits but struck out two in the nine batters faced.
