The Sioux City Explorers scored five unanswered runs to dig out of an early three-run deficit to snag a 7-5 win against the St. Paul Saints.
Sioux City racked up 17 hits in the contest, as all nine batters recorded at least one and seven of them had multi-hit games.
CF Jayce Ray led the team with three hits including a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning that pulled the Explorers within one run.
Later in the inning, LF LeVon Washington singled home SS Nate Samson and then in the next at-bat, C Tyle Ogle scored as 2B Brandon Alvarez was retired to give Sioux City the lead.
Samson added an insurance run in the eight with an RBI single.
For the Saints, DH Anthony Gallas went 1-for-2 with an RBI, a run scored and three drawn walks and SS Tanner Vavra went 2-for-3 with two RBI. LF Tim Colwell also added two hits and two runs.
