SIOUX CITY, IA - The American Association of Professional Baseball announced the 2015 postseason American Association All-Star Team and Sioux City Explorers shortstop Noah Perio, second baseman Ryan Court and outfielder Michael Lang were one of the few chosen. 


X’s shortstop Noah Perio Jr is in his first year with the Explorers after spending his last six seasons in the Miami Marlins organization. The Discovery Bay, CA native has played in all 99 Explorers games this season, while compiling a .314 batting average, 127 hits, 29 doubles, 4 triples, 7 home runs, 74 RBIs and 61 runs scored. 


Explorer second baseman Ryan Court spent his last four years in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization before joining Sioux City’s ball-club. Court, who resides in Sleepy Hollow, IL has been statistically solid across the board all season long. In 98 games with the X’s, Court has a .334 batting average, 122 hits, 22 doubles, 2 triples, 9 homers, 52 RBIs and 65 runs scored. 


Outfielder Michael Lang originally signed with the Sioux City Explorers in 2012 out of Rutgers University, before getting his contract purchased by the Arizona Diamondbacks for the remainder of the 2012 (and full) 2013 season. Lang returned to the Explorers in 2014 and is now in his third season with the ball-club. The Dumont, NJ native currently leads the American Association in triples (10) as well as being in the top 10 in just about every offensive category. In 80 games, Lang compiled a .344 batting average, 75 runs,  114 hits, 17 doubles, six home runs, 59 RBIs and 44 stolen bases (2nd in the league).
