Former X's Hurler Strong in Double-A All-Star Game

Cody Satterwhite (pictured), an exceptional reliever at Sioux City, IA (American Association) one year ago when he allowed only 14 hits in 28 innings while posting a 0.65 ERA and now pitching in the New York Mets’ farm system, seemed to have the best performance of six former Independent players who appeared in Wednesday’sTriple-A and Eastern League All-Star Games.

Satterwhite struck out two of the three hitters he faced in the seventh inning of the Class AA game with the third reaching base on an error.
