Gary, IN-----For the first time this season, the Sioux City Explorers were shutout last night by the Gary South Shore RailCats 1-0.
It was former X’s pitcher Alain Quijano who pitched eight innings scattering six hits in hurling the shutout for this third win of the season.
Explorers starter Andy Noga (1-2), took the loss, but had his best outing of the young season as he pitched 6 2/3 innings.
